The Luminariums are more than places of worship. They house the violet oak, a sacred tree that absorbs the magic of every wielder in the kingdom. Luminists are also rigid controllers of the law, and they do not tolerate disobedience. Those who step beyond the laws rarely live to tell the tale.

💉 2. Healing Without a Stamped Soldad is a Death Sentence
The kingdom’s laws forbid healing without a noble-approved Soldad (badge). Unauthorized healers are hunted, imprisoned, or worse. But when the rich hoard private healers, who will help the dying commoners?
Cael won’t turn his back on the suffering—even if it means risking execution . . .

🌊 3. The Canals Run Deep—And So Do Secrets
Lumin’s canals are the kingdom’s veins, essential for trade, travel, and escape. Smugglers, spies, and rebels know the waterways well.
